it looks like kevin will go from a full race lead on the rest of them in 1st but will go down to 5th when chase starts. my thought is the regular season point leader should start the chase with a 10 point lead over the rest to award that driver for the season whether that driver won 10 races or none just as long as that driver had the point lead after 26 weeks..

My thoughts are, they cut the field from 16 to 12 in the first round. If you can't get by the bottom 4 back markers in the first round you don't deserve to be champion

I agree completely. Not worried at all about wins right now. He could still get to 3rd this week anyway. Regardless, I think he wins more races than anyone in the chase.
