I really hope they bring a fast one this week.so many unkowns but one known is the #18 has been given the race already.every nascar site and tv show this week has talked more about kyle winning than ever before...we need a freaky fast car, greatr pit stops and awesome crew chiefing.he doesn't have to worry about going to next round ,hes good on points,so he can just focus just on winning..if kevin don't win this race he goes back to not having wins at 3 tracks..

Yeah... NBC TV schedule strikes again... teams are getting 2.5 hours of practice on a new track. Its going to cater to a big team that has made laps. Has Kevin even run laps? Still trying to figure out how KB had any tires left when he ran Kes so hard. Kes dropped like a rock and KB ran the run like he wasn't worried about tire wear. I know its all setup but its not the first race this season that Toyota teams seem to be immune to tire wear.

With nothing on the line, I probably won't even watch. That's how much NASCAR has messed up this whole playoff thing FOR ME - there are only a handful of races that even matter anymore. Back before the stupid Chase, every race mattered, every position mattered, every point mattered. Now, very little matters - and one lucky race can crown a champion. It sucks for me because I used to tune in each and every race because it mattered so much. Now, it's just kind of - eh.

if kevin don't win this race he goes back to not having wins at 3 tracks.. In addition, if Kyle wins, we get to hear about him winning at every track all over again 🤮 🤢 🤮

From what I’ve seen of practice so far, this looks like it’s going to be as big of a fiasco as that year they went to Indy and they tires kept popping. Glad Kevin is locked in by just starting. Ideal strategy will probably be slow and steady, just keeping on the lead lap while everyone else wrecks

This is going to be a farce, not that everybody didn't already know that.

Kudo's to NASCAR for trying something! But like everything lately... They are bowling strikes in the wrong lane! NOT a track for a playoff race! I'll watch because it's different. Hope for the best but be ok because it means nothing.

LOL! Just watched the "Biggest Incidents" video on NASCAR.COM. Slow and steady is the way to go. I think some teams are going to hope for a 3rd and 4th backup car! LOL! Something tells me that a bit of curbing is going to get moved or removed. Cutting some of those corners will cause a world of hurt!

My hunch is being good at Watkins Glen will be good here and the 4 is decidedly not good at Watkins Glen since the repave.

We might be safer starting back there. Attrition will be high.

I was watching the time... they didn't show Harvicks first lap. But he was within a few 10ths up till the last chicane... Looked like he was at or better in the center section. It seemed like he lost it all on the oval part. I'd be more worried if the 18 and the 78 qualified way better, but they start 14 and 15th.
As for the Glenn... That's almost more oval than road course...To many "Good" Drivers at that track... Harvick will rise to the top here... I think the 78 and 18 will too. Just don't need to get collected by someone else's lack of talent.
