I thought the different makes have different placements for stuff that help with downforce,like the radiator openings..

Tapered space equals Restrictor Plate. Just change the name and people think it is great.

I'm really interested to see the new rules at Daytona/Talladega starting with the spring race at Dega. More horsepower (HP was around 450 with the plate, will be 550 or so with the spacer combined with the aero package), with more drag. Should see a ton of lead changes with this type of configuration at those tracks. As far as the other tracks, for me, at the end of the day, it's cars on track and racing. I'm still going to watch and enjoy.

Chalk me up as one of the fans that absolutely hated the All Star race package. To institute a package based purely on one race is complete buffoonery. It wasn't racing when Kasey Kahne in the 95 could drive up to fourth place. Like Greg said - its just IROC by a different name. I wouldn't be surprised to see an exodus in drivers in the next year or two who hated this package. Unfortunately, I think Kevin will be one of them.

Hated the all star race, which is saying something since kevin won. What if we just took street cars, put roll cages in them, and took out the glass. no other mods.
