Well, those cars are all ready to go anyways. You know harvick is extra motivated now! I bet they win this weekend.

I understand that everybody pushes the envelope, but should they not advance, or maybe even if they do, I think you have to consider making a change at the crew chief position in the offseason.
You just can't lose two wins at the R&D Center, especially this one.

Yeah - I can’t see them getting rid of Rodney.
looks like Blaney was hit with a penalty too (although only 20 points).

Look what they've done in 4 years compared to his first 11 at rcr and multiple crew chiefs.

He does need to win at Phoenix though, then slap the rear spoiler like he did the back window last time imo

Fine, it's a lot extreme, but 2/8 times the 4 has won a race this year they've gotten no benefit from it and punished for it, including the race that put them in the championship event. That's not acceptable to me.

We all know every team is working in the "gray areas", just ask Cole Pearn, ask Alan Gustafson, the 42 etc.
What pisses me off is how NA$CAR picks and chooses when to levy penalties and when they don't. Take for instance the 78's absolute dominance at both Fontana and Kentucky this Year. I have no doubt that they found the 78's cheat the week after Fontana, but made no announcement and levied no penalty. Most likely it was a verbal warning. My reasoning to this statement is that the 78 at Michigan using the same Fontana car was absolute Junk that day. Fontana is often referred to as a Sister track to Michigan. So what changed?
3 out of 3 cars sent to Concord failed this week. I am quite certain if they had sent the top 10 that 75% of the cars would have failed this week's manipulated level of scrutiny.
It's blatantly obvious to me that NA$CAR is once again muniplulating the Sport behind the scenes just like they always do. They were deeply concerned that there was going to be 3 Ford's and only 1 Toyota at Homestead. By playing this hand this week they have a much better opportunity of dealing the final 4 hand of 1 Ford 2 Toyota's and 1 Chevy (9 car, no surprises here). And their plans are for no 4 Car in the final, or at the very least use the 4 Cars status to manufacture big time Drama in the last elimination Race.
Again, I scream NA$CAR Corruption!

Knaus said on Moody’s show today that not one car is completely legal in the top 25. I guess he essentially called himself out.

Well technically, the way Old 7-Time has been running this year, maybe not 😆

Do you really not see a HUGE difference in Fontana and Michigan? One is, you know...EXTREMELY bumpy, multi groove, very hard on tires. The other is not.

I do think they absolutely love this mid-week penalty stuff. It keeps NASCAR in the conversation in between races.
Checking spoilers as part of all inspections doesn't seem like it would be that time-consuming or costly but they'd rather nail somebody on it mid-week and keep the news cycle hot.
