what would they do ,if they even check, if the winning championship car failed post race on wed. after the champ has been on 20 tv talk show,1,000's of newspapers and magazines and everywhere on the internet?

All championship 4 cars go to NASCAR R&D before they even head to Homestead. Also, all tech will be done at the track Sunday night.

Also, all tech will be done at the track Sunday night. soo still wondering what they do after all the talk shows and papers ect..what will nascar do?will they come out like last week and say "the spoiler was off by .00000001 of millimeter so it means they cheated and arent the champion"...I think what happened last week was more embarrassing for nascar than the #4 team,.000001 of an inch

I'm assuming they'll probably DQ the winning car if they find it to be illegal, whether it helped or not.

I think it would be in best interest to just call the sport done for the year after the presentation of the trophy. Even sending the winning car to R&D but keeping any findings hush hush would still leak out. They may not (in the past) let a team use a dq'd car for points or whatever, but they're not inclined to take away the win. Again It'd be in their best interest to just not R&D any of them. Sort out new rules for next year.

I agree, but they'd have to look at all of them, not just the winner.
