Looks to me that the 38 caused Brad to get loose by contact, or air, then the 2 hit the 19. I know it looks weird with it being the 2 and 19, but I don't think there's anything fishy with this one. Just a racing deal with lap cars not giving room to those battling for position.

Yes, he does turn into him, but Brad is in the worst scenario possible as far as aero is concerned. A car right on his LR corner, and a car tight on his outside. He got loose, tried to save it, and hit the 19. Agreed that there was no need for a caution, but I don't think there was any intent there on Brad's part.

I think the better question is ... Why were there four "also ran" cars racing 4 wide into turn 3!? Brad already body slammed a car going in side-by-side with another car. He looked to be the faster of the four and was trying to thread a needle. Biggest brain fart of the year award right there! What is it when you do the same thing over and over expecting a different result? Yup!
