Same here tombo, but my speech is too explicit to mention. Watched the red carpet, fast forwarded thru lagano and didn't even watch the awards. Already planning a road trip instead of a couple races next year. I'll watch a few, but they've been losing 10% of me every year since the early 2000's and I've already been on overtime with them hoping for changes to the old ways. I guess it just ain't gonna happen. Get on board or ship out and my ropes have been untied for a couple years now. I'll definitely keep watching this board, I like everyone on here. Besides I don't face or tweet so this is the extent of my social media.

As long as Kevin is racing... I'll be watching. I'll see where I land when he retires. I still want to get to a race while he is still racing. As for the rule package: The top teams will rise to the top. It will not be the equalizer that everyone thinks it will be. It will favor the Toyotas power band and the wide-open style that the Xfinity series drivers are familiar with. I fear Chevy and Ford are going to struggle mainly due to the engine. I personally believe that the Toyota engine produces more torque at a lower RPM than the Chevy and Fords. That lower RPM torque allows Toyotas to accel off the corner better... anyway it just a personal opinion. Once NASCAR sees that the racing is horrible, they'll make a mid-season rule change and like I like to say... "They'll bowl a strike.... just in the wrong lane" ... ugh!
If it wasn't for safety... I'd say all cars need to be purchased off the showroom floor. If the airbag deploys your done for the day! LOL! I know... stupid idea! but so is NASCAR's! LOL!

Its that time to Fall clean anyway! Bug Bombs away! LOL! That was a fun re-read! * I did get to a race: Spring Texas! * Top teams were still … ah ... Top teams … imagine that! * Toyotas ruled (still imho due to the rules favoring a Toyota) * Wide-open racing … yup! Might-as-well paint the racing line on the track! * Chevys and Fords struggles at times. I think Ford did a way better job of bridging the gap and Chevy still has a loooonnnngggg way to go. * NASCAR did NOT make a mid-season rule change. But, at the beginning of the season, they did drop the bowling ball on their foot and it rolled in the gutter almost entire way! Fizzled out and stop about 2 feet away! The wound will fester all next season because JJ will be to busy with last hurrah parties to give a care! Makes me really really look forward to 2021! NOT! Isn't there talks of a new manufacture looking in NASCAR for the 2021... wasn't Honda looking into it?

Yes Honda was, haven't heard anything from it though. Maybe they're also seeing what's happening to this sport.
