Only 3.5 seconds off the pace in 1st practice.
Hard to understand us being that far off even if all we did was race runs.
Bowyer was only .7 off from the 19.

Having a week in between to shake stuff up after that abomination at Michigan and doing nothing shows they've mailed it in anyway. And ownership is too busy off running his sprint cars to give a crap.

They had absolutely zero speed at the Charlotte roval last year so maybe this is the new norm at these places.

I assume were setup for the long run and will try to push the fuel mileage strategy today.
I think they will be ok and will rise to the top by end of the first stage.

No car(s) will travel to the r&d center this weeK.
Could it be that NA$CAR knows all went as planned so no need to look any further?
When and if the 4 car wins I suspect that it will be sent in and torn apart.
BTW have you tuned in to an Indycar race lately?
That's some good racing there.
