Its really sad when I look at it. So many lost years with RCR, and way too many long winless streaks in the 2000's. So true==those were some lean years So to add to this... Posted in Reddit by 4EverA3Fan "I haven't seen this posted anywhere or mentioned in the media, but I noticed recently that when Kevin Harvick starts the race at Dover in a couple weeks, he'll be starting his 676th cup race, matching his predecessor Dale Earnhardt in career starts. Would be neat if he ran some kind of special decal or something in acknowledgement." And as a reply by 4EverA3Fan "For the record, many of Dale's seasons were less than 36 races a year but all of Harvick have been that long. So it's a comparison of Dale's 21 full seasons to this being Kevin's 19th." ----- Wow! Hard to believe that Harvick has been in Cup for 19 seasons! On the reddit post they were talking about how they ought to do something special... 4 Team needs to do a throw back to himself and the White/Red 29 paint scheme he ran his rookie year … It wouldn't hurt that the 2001 Dover race was my first race. And... Like I tell everyone... Went in as a Steve Park fan and left as a Harvick fan! And one more stat... but last time Harvick won Indy … it was from the pole!

Almost 19 full seasons in cup.
48 total wins.
25 of which have come in his last 206 races of 672 total races run.
23 wins in 466 races for RCR.

The more comparisons I look at, the more the RCR days hurt. If you average his SHR wins over his career races (25 wins for 1/3 of his career starts), it puts him around 75+ wins. Right there with the likes of Dale Earnhardt, and plenty of years to go. Makes you wonder what other drivers out there could’ve been legends of they had the right equipment

How many could he have won during Harvicks era at RCR?

I took it as it was the Michigan car. If anything is was the same engine/car package as Michigan. Hopefully they have figure out the balance question. Not really a problem, just bringing the right combination on speed vs handling. Looks like just speed isn't everything at some tracks... that right balance is key to a win. And controlling the race! The 4 team controlled the race Sunday. They have also lost a ton when they lose control and at Indy that was my fear. Get behind and you can't pass. During practice, JR thought that the pack would be closer. Nope! If you got behind, you couldn't pass... couldn't get close enough to even attempt a pass. And thus the parade of cars. The only way to make this type of racing fun, is to restart the race every 10 laps. Every 10 laps you'd get the excitement of the swapping positions and drafting. After it gets spread out its a dull race. Except when there are KB's Toyota engine parts all over the ground. Rodney was on SiriusXM on Monday and said it was not the Michigan car but the Michigan motor. Said the last time they ran this car was at Kentucky. But all the cars are constantly updated so even if the car runs more than one race it’s not the same as it was in a previous race.
