Car looks real good in race trim during happy hour. Caught the 22 from a long way back on the same tires and pulled away from him.

We passed inspection (so did the 2), so the front row is set.

Those things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!! All JGR top 4 and only 1 fails tech... the last one … the lowest in the JGR stables. I questioned once, if NA$CAR "caught" the lowest impact team in attempt tell the whole team they know what's going on. Personally, when you have a driver dominate a track … like Harvick and Phoenix, that's one thing. Having the entire team dominate a short track... just to many things have to go right for it to be real.

Kyle - typically runs well at Richmond, and has won there 6 times. 2. Denny - same for him, and has won 3 times. 3. Truex - historically has been hit or miss, but in the last 5 years he's been pretty good, even should've won a race with MWR there, until his pit crew cost him the win 4. Jones - not enough history to say if he's good here or not, but he's ran really well over the past few months Teams just figure it out sometimes. Hell, SHR waxed the field at Dega of all places where things are supposed to be equal.

Hell, SHR waxed the field at Dega of all places where things are supposed to be equal. Don't forget that they all drive JGR Toyotas... And a team sweeping Dega, just means the team worked well together. There is a lot more setup/driver going on at Richmond at least you would think there is. I get that JGR sweeping the top 4 spots at Richmond is more of a result of the racing package. Someone on Reddit pointed out that several teams had finishes that were grouped around our teammates... like 5 or 6 teams. Toyota has it when it comes to the package... So...why did the 20 car decide to cheat? Reddit posted by Fyrien JGR 1-2-3 (EDIT: dammit Erik) SHR 7-8-9 (Almirola f***** it up by finishing 16th) FRM 19-20-21 JTG 30-31 RWR 32-33-34 Premium 35-36-37

The 4 team, and everyone else included. The 20 team knew they needed a really good run to either: A. win the race and lock themselves into the next round, or B. Put themselves in a great points position heading into the Roval. They obviously pushed a little too far with the rear end alignment. That's the risk you take with as small of a box you have to work in. If it gets through inspection, you look like a hero. If not, you're screwed. I'd suggest going and watching this: Refuse To Lose: The 1997 Daytona 500Listening to Ray Evernham and Jeff Gordon's story about how they prepared their car for the 1997 Daytona 500 depicts what I'm talking about. Every team does this EVERY SINGLE WEEK. The people that work on these teams are much smarter than the ones inspecting these cars, and they know it.
