If Harvick doesn't win New Hampshire it's gonna be interesting at Dover for sure because it will be Jimmie and Harvick up front. They finished 1 2 there earlier this year.

The Vegas odds makers have Kevin favored to win New Hampshire and after adjusting for last weeks finish they have him at 6-1 odds. Not bad. Keep your heads high. kevin is going to do this.

Clint Bowyer docked 25 points for illegal track bar. That helps and we moved up a spot in points without even racing lol can't complain about that!

It's too bad it was one of the 3 I think Harvick will get in points anyway. That would have really made it interesting. If Harvick doesn't win this week then I really do hope 1 of the chasers has issues. I honestly don't think I can take another week like this emotionally. LOL. I'm wantin to race everybody I see on the road.

We have 2 races left...quite honestly if it was in the old format we would probly be done so it's nice to have 2 races to get back in the top 12 and then points reset. Finished 3rd and 2nd at New Hampshire and Dover this year and I honestly think if he has those finishes again he would still point his way into the next round even without a win in the next 2 races but let's just go out and win next week! We know how Kevin races when his back is against the wall and I would much rather have this happen today than later in the chase. Let's go Kevin!! In reality, that is correct. But, I must say I was very disappointed in Kevin's confrontation with JJ after the first chase race. In evaluating the circumstances it was clear the #22 push the #24 onto the apron. Kevin defended his position despite his ability to move over and let JJ back on the track. Mistake #2 was failing to pit and get either 2 or 4 new tires. That set Kevin up for disaster. Mistake #3 was getting into it with JJ, a longtime friend. Posturing and chutzpah gets you just so far and taking it out on JJ was inappropriate. Evidence is Delana's disappointment in Kevin's behavior as well. By the way, I'm a Harvick fan from way back, and I still hope he's ends up winning the championship. I realize Logano pulled an old trick of pushing someone so hard, it usually results in an accident... to his benefit. HOWEVER, Kevin wasn't the only one with options ... he was leading Jimmie .. so if they were such tight friends, I figure it was up to Jimmie to back off and try again when he was on the track. I'm also not sure that assuming Delana was disappointed in Kevin's behaviour is correct either. The officials had arrived. She didn't want Kevin penalized. Personally, I'd like to see Jimmie show up at the track with a shiner from a second, more private, meeting. Just dreaming I guess. But he deserves it!! GO HARV!!!!

The more I have watched it, the more I agree with you. Jimmie didn't get FORCED down below the apron. That is a BS cop out. He saw an opportunity and took it after he realized Joey had hung back on the restart and he was getting an awesome push. If they all stay in line there then Harvick gets pushed to the lead. Harvick had every right to protect the bottom being the leader and Jimme could have and SHOULD have taken his medicine and moved back up slowly. Logano would have probably passed him, but that's the price you pay when you make a stupid decision. Kevin is completely right in this case and Jimmie knows it. Like I said, if Kevin doesn't win this weekend or an IMPORTANT driver have issues then watch out Dover. No way Jimmie wins it.

I swear I think the JJ/Kevin "feud" is a made for TV event created and paid for by NASCAR. They need confrontation to bring more eyes to the event.

I wish Kevin had put Jimmie into the wall last week. I'm not exaggerating. There was nothing to lose imo.

And that would be another car were racing to make into the next round. Now if he does it down the road when johnson is in a later round, i wonder what kind of problems it would cause between hendrick and stewart/haas alliance.
