Hope everybody is doing well.
NASCAR announced today the Cup season will resume with a 400 mile race on May 17 at Darlington (without fans obviously). There will be another Cup race at Darlington on May 20 (a Wednesday race!). The Coke 600 (May 24) and another race at Charlotte (May 27) will follow. The mid-week races are 500 kilometers (310 miles). All races except the Coke 600 will have no practice or qualifying. I believe (though haven't seen confirmation yet) that there will be no live pit stops either to cut down on the number of crew members traveling to the races.

Watching the 2011 Darlington race where the 29, and the 18 got in a scuffle, Bowyer wrecks him self off the 29 and of course blames someone else.
And the 78 with Smith drives his ass off with old tires for the win.
18 hooks the 29 straight into the wall and some how Harv saves it and never actually hits the wall. Then Harv pays 18 a visit on pit road.18 runs off because he is scared to death of Harv.
A classic!
And Harv still finishes LL 17th!

Chevys looked tough! Martin Truex again seamed able to pull a rabbit out of his hat! But Harvick had the best car overall. Turn around will be tight for everyone with the #4 team leading that race. Does Harvick keep his #1 pit box? Oh... and having Kenseth back was oddly satisfying. Always like him except the times Harvick was losing directly to him.

During those dark days in 08 and 09 I didn't know if Harv would ever win "A" race again, so hitting the milestone he did today seemed like a complete impossibility.
I wish it had been under more normal circumstances, but I'm thrilled for him and the guys that he got #50.

Yup, and of course I can't find it now, but there's a nice photo chopped cool picture of a sign in front of the SHR shop that says, "Reserved for the driver with the most wins" and has Tony Stewart's name on it. Then someone scribbled Kevin Harvick over top of Tony's.
