Am I the only one thinking it might be time to step away? Has today’s style of racing passed Kevin by? After the way it looked today I think it is time for re-evaluation. It honestly looked like he was scared to death of the 9. I am prepared to take the heat for this post.

I don't think he was scared, I think he was in a pressure packed moment and his car had junk brakes from the drop of the green flag. With that said, if he retired after next season, I wouldn't be mad. It would allow me to put some distance between myself and Nascar, which would be healthy, because I really don't like what the sport has become.

I think he was definitely paying too much attention to his mirrors today. I agree he’s not as aggressive as he could be, but I don’t think he’s lost his touch. 9 wins last season and the entire SHR organization is terrible in cup and xfinity this season. If his teammates were even equal to him, then maybe. However, he is still clearly the best at SHR by a long shot.
I imagine he will fulfill his contractual obligations and then be done to focus on Keelan racing. We may even see a resurgence of KHI.

I really don't think the 9 had anything to do with; he had just lost like two-three spots b/c the 3 moved him or whatever and he was trying to be aggressive and get them back. Shit happens.
