and it's raining
The 4 was in qualifying trim - that was my bad (19 said he ran his fast lap in race trim so that must have been one amazing lap). So were the other guys with only a handful of laps. So out of those guys the 4 is fourth out of four.

I was talking the four guys who have only done qualifying runs (78, 48, 88 and 4). The 2 may have run a Q run right at the end as well but I'm not sure. |

Last year they didn't seem to have the best car here. Tires at the end is what gave them the edge. And without the cautions at the right times he wasn't going to catch the leaders. He drove cautiously all race by staying off the wall. At the end when he was trying to make time, he moved to the wall and I think it surprised them that they weren't really any faster next to it. I hope they get this thing dialed in this practice. He was the second best car to the 24 from about halfway till the end of the race last year. He was first of the title contenders before the last stops ever happened. It wasn't luck. |

I'm actually down in Miami (about 20 min North of Homestead) right now and the weather is very overcast and consistently sprinkling. |

If I heard Brian France correctly, he said if the 24 is leading and it is convenient, the race just might end. Rain would be a great way to manipulate this Championship. Just my two cents.

I cant watch qualifying,they have kyles picture right behind the stage like their making it too obvious about who nasacr is giving the championship to or something.
