I'm gonna guess Kevin's 10 lap run was on old tires b/c he did it later in the session. I see now,kevin was laps 15-24 and #2 was 1-10. |

I'm gonna guess Kevin's 10 lap run was on old tires b/c he did it later in the session. Rodney changed tires today after 13 laps. 14 through 29 were on new tires. The 2's long run speed is impressive. However his fastest lap is 24th. I would much rather fire off faster like we are. I would like to have seen his 15 lap times vs the 4. Also remember it was sprinkling at the end of Harvs 10 lap run. |

#2 was almost 2 mph faster than kevin in 10 lap average. gotta be part of the elaborate conspiracy to give the 18 the title lol, that's funny! |

First time out they "rolled" a brand new set. This way they have an extra fresh set of scuffs for the race.
Rodney said they had 1 set of scuffs and 1 new new set for the remainder of HR.
So I assume the first run was on scuffs, this is why they are 1.3 seconds off of the 22's time.
Looks like the 78 is copying our stradegy

No worries. I mean Cole Whitt is 19th and Alex Bowman 22nd? Lol I think they put on stickers on the 2nd run but the track will not have the speed in it like it had at the beginning of the practice. We're fine!
