Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-846: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS built on Chassis No. 4-846 in the Citizen Soldier 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. Built in 2014, Chassis No. 4-846 debuted at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in March 2014. It scored its only win in October 2014 at Dover, where it started 15th and led 355 of 400 laps. Its most recent appearance came in March 2016 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, where it started second, led 142 laps and finished second. It also has four second-place finishes, seven top-five finishes and eight top-10s in 10 starts.

The fact that they're bringing this car to Dover and not saving it for later in the chase shows to me that Rodney has a few rides he expects to be even better. Lets hope this one dominates just like last year.

I'm hoping somebody unexpected has trouble and doesn't advance like the 48 last year.
And I hope we lead like 360 laps and win again.

Of the "realistic" ones that could miss the cut, I'm hoping the 19 and 42 are the ones that miss. To me, the only race that matters is Homestead - and both the 19 and 42 have shown a propensity to have "elite" cars at tracks like this. If they squeeze their way through the first few rounds, they become a real threat on a 1-off at Homestead. Cars I'm rooting for to advance that don't really scare me at Homestead include: 34 (obviously), 1, 41, 14, 22, and 48

I said to a buddy a few weeks ago that if the 42 somehow remains consistent enough to squeeze into Homestead there is very real chance he could steal himself a title. It would be pretty funny to have a NASCAR Cup champion with 1 career win. I'm with you on worrying about who can beat us at the 1.5 milers, the 78 is obviously cream of the crop there. If he makes it to Homestead it'll come down to his luck. Unless they have to stop cheating by then...

While I like Truex and would certainly root for him over most of the other drivers in the Chase, as long as Kevin is still in the Chase I'll be rooting for the 78 to have some kind of mechanical failure to knock him out in the 2nd round (but he can lead every lap and win Dover for all I care). I'm rooting for Buescher to win this week!!! Hahaha! Come on FOGGGGGGGG...

The 78 and 18 are the cars to beat. I hope they go out the next round. We don't have the raw speed they have. I think we are a little behind, but with some new stuff we could easily jump back to the top. I just don't know if we are going to have new equipment with us changing to ford next year. It is going to rain all weekend so we will see who can unload the best.

I would hope they basically bypassed spending extra time on this weekend and took the opportunity to pool all their time and resources towards Charlotte and Kansas.

Didn't appear to have much qualifying speed this AM but was stout in race trim.

Qualifying got rained out so the 4 starts sixth, which is a lot better than he'd have qualified.

The team got their fourth warning this morning in inspection so they lost pit stall selection for Sunday.

Great!! Not what we need at this track. I feel like this happened last time here. Hardest pit road to get in and out, but on the bright side the car is fast in race trim.

Maybe they did it on purpose. That way they are back to zero when the next round starts.
