Can we all just agree and blame Derrike Cope? LOL! ... Derrick Cope! Nah... It's Toyota! or Nascar! Or Blaney for not pushing! What I thought was interesting... the racing up front was closer in the cup race (non-restricted) than it was for the Xfinity race (restricted). |

yeah,why is the #18 crew so fast?someone needs to find out what they doin and try it.the #4 pit crew was a top 5 pit crew today but not winning pit crew and todays loss all on childers.should had pitted when he seen truex stay out.... That was my thinking too.. they are probably cheating with the air gun some how... |

I didn't see truex or Busch finishing in front of Kevin today. What did I miss? What's your point? Brakes failed on the 78 and the 18 car stunk. We had the best car (as we showed when we had an 8 second lead), but our pit crew soiled themselves repeatedly so we lost a race we easily should have won because of our pit crew. Again. |

A race like this at homestead probably results in Kevin not winning the championship. Even with the 18 and 78 having problems, there will still be one more car (probably the 2) to worry about. 4th place won’t cut it at homestead. These are consistent problems throughout several seasons that aren’t being fixed

Others will probably disagree with me but I really don't care about winning the championship under this format any more. It doesn't reward the best team all season; it's who has the best race at Homestead.
All I really care about is him continuing to win races and moving up the all-time list.
And yes Nate's probably right the pit crew and/or Rodney will be the reason they don't win it.

From what I saw, kevin was to close to the wall on one stop and on another bad stop the air gun blew. This is not a pit crew issue.

LOL - you haven't listed to the bullsh!t Rodney constantly peddles, huh? He ALWAYS makes excuses for the poor pit performance, even when there's no excuse at all. I don't believe a thing he says in respect to the pit crew. |

And yes Nate's probably right the pit crew and/or Rodney will be the reason they don't win it. I care. But I will absolutely concede that it doesn't mean near as much as it used to. Still, I would like him to win at least 1 more. In this format, having 1 championship can be achieved by lucky fluke (imagine if Newman had beaten Kevin in that first one), but winning 2+ takes that argument out of it. I also care about him continuing to win races. The pit crew + Rodney's "strategy" puts a cap on that as well unfortunately. |
